world aids day

Since 1991, December 1st has been designated annually as World AIDS Day. Historically, Oklahoma City hasn’t done much to raise awareness for HIV/AIDS, but this year we’re changing that in a big way.

Here’s a list of what’s happening in OKC surrounding World AIDS Day 2017:

  • All WEEK

    • Red Ribbon campaign on social media. Join with other individuals and businesses across the OKC metro in posting a photo of yourself wearing a red ribbon on social media. Tag with #WorldAIDSDayOKC.
  • Thursday, nov 30th

    • 5:00pm - 8:00pm | Art Exhibition @ Waters Edge Winery.
This come-and-go art exhibition will feature local artists and is intended to prompt conversation as well as share visual stories about individuals living with or the prevention of HIV/AIDS. (Free; $10 suggested donation.)
